Guest Room Bed

We know it is hard to believe but we now have a bed in the guest bedroom.

Of course there is still an air mattress but we're working on that, too.

Just finished assembling it tonight - there were four long screws missing. They were metric, a special pitch and longer than we could find with the right type of head.

We did find hex headed bolts that were a bit too long so Michael ground them down and rounded off the heads on our bench grinder (from last Black Friday).

Now we need to find a bed for the master bedroom!

The bed is a thing of beauty -- very elegant. Suits you perfectly. I can convert it into a king bed for you. All I need is a sawsall, duct tape, chicken wire and epoxy filler. I think you have all these products in your workshop, so the conversion should be a snap.

And a couple of 2x4s -- almost forgot. Gotta maintain the bed's structural integrity.

Target has a 2inch closed cell foam
mattress pad that would turn the air mattress into a dream sleep!! After freezing on one at me grand daughters house, I treated the air chilled mattress to one, and comfort rules!!! The Target pad is NOW ON SALE AT A GREAT DISCOUNT!!!!!!!

Very interesting lines, like an ocean wave, rocking one to sleep.
