Sabino Canyon Walk

Yesterday we hiked in Sabino Canyon with our friends, Ed and Joanne Wallach, who are in Tucson for the month of March from very cold Maryland. They have rented the home that we had last year and seem to be enjoying the amenities there.

The walk was lovely - saw the first saguaro bloom of the year and the first small horned lizard I have ever seen in the wild.

After the hike we had frozen margaritas and appetizers at the El Charro close by - happy hour of course and a great way to end a hike!

What wonderful wild life. I especially loved the "hot water" area. I was able to heard Ed's discussion on public radio..He must be a fine teacher. It is quite odd to be back in Dallas!! Alice
