Larry Mills and Frances Tanaka Visit to Tombstone and the Pima County Air and Space Museum

What a great time we had.

Not much time for rest.

Larry and Frances arrived on Wednesday afternoon and we went swimming before a great feast for dinner.

The next morning off to the Sonoran Desert Museum (did not post more pictures of the Museum as it was gray and rainy that day) where we took a docent tour. We did not know there was such an animal but we all learned quite a bit on the tour. It was worthwhile. And of course we had another big dinner with wines, etc. that evening.

Friday we visited Tombstone and for the first time went to the re-enactment at the OK Corral.
Not great but OK - at least it didn't rain on us that day. The temperature in Tucson was 63 degrees - the last time it was 63 degrees on May 23rd was in 1919. We were better dressed than the day before for the weather but with the wind and rain it was pretty chilly a times. No reenactment of our time with the Veseth's when it sleeted, rained and snowed here. On the way home we stopped at El Charro Cafee and were treated to dinner and drinks by our guests.

Saturday off to the Pima County Air and Space Museum which was wonderful. We all wished we had left earlier in the day as we could have spent more time there. Larry was my instrument instructor and a great person to go to the museum with as he knew almost every airplane and it's history.

Sunday after lox and eggs prepared by Michael our friends headed back to Phoenix to catch their plane to Seattle. It was so quiet after they left!

Now we are preparing to leave here on Sunday, June 1st.
