The snake that came to visit us today in our driveway has been confirmed as a California King Snake.
Although I did not get a tape measure and measure it we believe it is between 4-5 feet long.
We like those - they eat rattlesnakes and packrats!

I think you can probably forget about Sue ever visiting you again after this! She's not the biggest fan of snakes in the world. On the other hand, our nephew Ryan is right now packing his bags ...
