Today we visited the Agua Caliente Park with our friends, Ed and Joanne.

Bird walk in Tohono Chul

On Saturday we got up early to join our friends, Ed and Joanne Wallach, at Tohono Chul for a birdwalk.

Our guide, Jay, was full of information and enthusiasm and since no one else showed up we had a private tour!

Saw several species but learned even more!

More Sabino Canyon Hike photos

Sabino Canyon Walk

Yesterday we hiked in Sabino Canyon with our friends, Ed and Joanne Wallach, who are in Tucson for the month of March from very cold Maryland. They have rented the home that we had last year and seem to be enjoying the amenities there.

The walk was lovely - saw the first saguaro bloom of the year and the first small horned lizard I have ever seen in the wild.

After the hike we had frozen margaritas and appetizers at the El Charro close by - happy hour of course and a great way to end a hike!
